SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE

I worked with the producer to create a monthly content schedule. We would plan when to release breakouts, shorts, interviews, outtakes, and quotes. When we had special content, we would break down how to best deliver them to the audience using short form and longer form video, when to release to get those most out of Klavan’s audience, and how to title it to catch attention but not mislead viewers. I created titles, descriptions, thumbnail ideas, and on occasion, thumbnails.

My other responsibilities included creating videos, approving content, quality controlling videos, uploading, and publishing video content.

I handled analytics and performance data on YouTube and podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.). I came up with new ideas on how content could perform better and implemented them.

I quality controlled, uploaded, and published daily video content including special content.

The owners wanted an active Instagram account for the business, but not to grow it. The aviation industry is a tight-knit community, and it worked for us to keep the channel as is. Most of our marketing was traditional marketing (print, magazines, etc.).

In 2019, I started Parachute social media accounts and grew our initial audience. After I left in 2020, I built out marketing strategies as a freelancer that were executed by interns.

I worked mostly as a content creator. I was shooting photography, building graphics, writing copy, and creating general foodie content for Facebook.
